FAQs

  • What is a Seascooter?

A seascooter, also known as a Diver Propulsion Vehicle (DPV), is a handheld, battery-powered device that helps swimmers, snorkelers, and divers move through the water with less effort. It uses a motor and propeller system to create thrust, allowing users to explore underwater environments at a higher speed and conserve energy.

  • Do I have to be a good swimmer to snorkel or use the Seascooter?

A basic level of swimming is recommended however we provide you with fins to assist with your snorkeling experience. The Seascooter is the ideal solution for guests with limited swimming abilities.

  • Does the charter include transfers?

We recommend guests arrange for their own transport from their accomodation using our local taxi services.

  • Do we need to bring our own towels along?

We will provide you with fresh towels for your cruise.

  • What happens to our cruise in the event of bad weather?

We will endeavor to reschedule your cruise on a suitable day, pending availability.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash only, to be paid upon arrival.

  • Are there sharks in the lagoon?

The lagoon is considered very safe for swimming and it is rare to ever find a shark within the lagoon itself. They are typically found in the passages which lead outside of the reef which encompasses the lagoon. Sharks are most often found outside of the lagoon.
